The easiest way to check for updates is to make use of the RSS feed. There is a link to the feed in the side bar. There is also an  HTML page showing the content of the feed. To learn more about RSS see  What is RSS?
You can see if the site has been updated since your last visit by clicking on the 'Last Site Update' date and time on the Home Page.
All non-trivial changes are recorded on the Recent Changes page.
To help you navigate links that are to locations internal to the site are coloured differently to external links, which take you away from it.
By default the text links will replace the current page with the relevant comic. However you may wish to open the link in a new tab or window, for example to view a series of comics.
If you want the comic to open in another browser tab (or window) then you have three options:
Most links to locations outside this site are preceded by an icon ''. Clicking on this will open the link in a new tab. However you will have less control over the process that if you do this via your browser and the 'focus' will probably change to the new location.
Not all links on the site have this Icon, it is omitted if it would disrupt the formatting excessively.
If you accessed the site through http://nbinvincible.org.uk you may be surprised to find yourself at http://www.ricka.plus.com This expected behaviour and is because access to the site is redirected to the site to be moved between hosts more easily.
You may access the site though http://nbinvincible.org.uk or http://www.ricka.plus.com, however at some time in the future you may have to update your bookmark if the site moves. Bookmarks to http://nbinvincible.org.uk will not need updating.
If you want to link to items within the site roll your mouse over the nearest heading. A paragraph mark '¶' will appear. This is the point that you can link to - on most browsers a Right-Click whilst over the mark will reveal a menu that allows you to copy the relevant URL.
Note
Don't be surprised if the domain part of the URL is different to what you expect. The address of this site is redirected and what you are seeing is the domain name of the server the site is currently hosted on.
Note
These 'permanent' links are still subject to change due to site alterations. You should also be aware that the site may move host in the near future, which will break all such links.
